This Dover edition, first published in 1964, contains all the engravings from the revised and enlarged "Gabinetto Armonico" as published in Rome in 1723. The new introduction and explanatory text were written specially for this edition by Frank Ll. Harrison and Joan Rimmer. The illustration reproduced as a frontispiece to this edition represents King David, to who the work was dedicated. Unread. Spot on bottom edge and minor soiling along top edge.
